The Nasson Bike Center hosted students from Sanford’s Bridge Program on Thursday afternoons beginning early this year. The students rebuilt 4 bikes they used on trails around the campus in the spring. Staff sent a great thank you card to us after the end of their school year, seen above. We look forward to hosting again in the fall. For more information about the Bridge Program check them out at

Monday morning we brought 10 rebuilt bikes to the Spurwink offices in Biddeford for use by their clients. These are bikes rebuilt by our youth and volunteers as community bikes, earning our kids the ability to build bikes for themselves at no cost to them. The staff at Spurwink have a good feel for who could really use these bikes, so we are happy to send them along!

Anna is really interested in BMX riding at the skate park, so she built up this BMX bike from a donation to the Nasson Bike Center. Have fun Anna!

Beau rebuilt this bright orange bmx bike in between his busy sports schedule. Congratulations Beau!
